Had an amazing time photographing this 1936 Chrysler Imperial Airflow with its owner Chandler Smith. Chandler was such a cool guy. He totally dressed the part for the shoot and afterwards drove my assistant and I around in this beauty. He then asked if I wanted to drive, in which I quickly declined. I have good insurance, but I don't want to test it. He then asked my assistant if he wanted to drive. My assistant looked at me and quickly knew my preference. Haha We were plenty happy just cruising in the back seat.

Amazing Modern House
Alright, this is the one. This is the coolest house I have ever photographed. It was just absolutely amazing! I worked with Paul Field of wernerfield architecture + design. They do immaculate work, down to every detail. It was a fourteen hour day, shooting this place, but well worth it.

Modern Home - featured on DWELL
This house that I shot was featured on Dwell.com recently. Joshua Rice did the interior designing. It was a gorgeous modern home that still felt warm and comfortable. I have to say I've shot a lot of really nice homes, but this is definitely one of my favorites.

WSJ - Tim McGraw
So my assistants and I pull up outside of a large concert venue about 2 hours before we are planned to shoot Tim Mcgraw. I wanted enough time to scout a cool location and set my lighting up. We start walking through the parking lot and this extremely fit guy with his shirt off and headphones in jogs past us. I said, "Thats not Tim McGraw is it?" I say that because it looked like a 25 year old who has been working out his whole life. He was ripped. Come to find out it, it was him, he does cross fit every night before a show.
We get into our specific area given to us, which was about 10ft. by 15ft. Not kidding. I had to get two different looks and one needed to be a full body shot on a 9ft seamless. Haha. I took a couple of deep breathes and then we went at it. The seamless barely fit. Fortunately I brought a bunch of old barn wood as a possible backdrop. Tim's PR person said that this won't possibly work fitting both sets in this small area, then added that she doubts Tim would like the wood backdrop either. Long story short we did fit it all in, I got my two shots in under 10 min. and Tim loved the wood backdrop. Haha, I learned that trusting my gut, not freaking out and being prepared pays off.
PS - Tim McGraw was extremely nice and such a cool guy. I really enjoyed this one.

FORBES - Aguascalientes
Forbes magazine called me up and asked if I would like to go down to Aguascalientes, Mexico to shoot a feature for them. I said "When do I leave". It would be shooting the Governor, the head of the Nissan plant and a range of shots of the car plant.
Everyone was so kind and hospitable. The Governor even offered up his personal helicopter to get some arial shots, I of course said yes. Then after the shoot his daughter (who was a talented photographer herself) took my assistant and I and showed us around town. She graciously gave us a first person view of the culture down there. We had some amazing first experiences that day including having dinner with the Governor, diplomats and beauty queens, personal tour of the San Marcos Fair (largest fair in South America), watching a cock fight, having drinks in the Gov's private club, going to a concert of the biggest heartthrob in Mexico with amazing seats, all under body guards consistent watch. It was a pretty cool experience that I am very thankful to have had.

WSJ - Roger Staubach
This was definitely a shoot I'll remember. I recently got to shoot Roger Staubach, former star quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys for the Wall Street Journal. Such a nice guy! He gave me plenty of time and was cool with shooting some of my concepts that I brought up. We had a blast, and my assistants were pretty excited to throw the pigskin with one of the best quarterbacks in history.

DCEO - 2014 Entrepreneurs of The Year
Here is a recent shoot that I shot for DCEO magazine. These are the top Entrepreneurs of the Year. I had a good time shooting and getting to know all of them.
I wanted to do something a little different with these that tied them all together visually. So, my solution was to set up this framework that I hung plexi glass covered in colored gels at different heights and depths to shoot through. I really liked the result, I just had to keep moving around them to get cool compositions. I liked the photo editors picks, but I added a few at the end that I thought were interesting to me, they are a little more abstract and creative I thought.
