This is Mrs. Reeder. She is the lovely woman who creates the Christmas Book for Neiman Marcus. You know the one with bowling alleys, jet planes, and the cup cake car. We were going to take the portrait at the "unveiling" in a jet or around some of the million dollar gifts, but unfortunately the date was past my deadline. I scouted the downtown store and wasn't really inspired by much there that went with the story. Just outside the store I loved the huge gold nametag of the store. My assistants and I quickly worked out the lighting scheme (pretty simple really, 5ft Octabank in the street) and when Ginger came out shot about 50 frames. I was very taken back by her very elegant and in control feel she gave off, but very kind.
The second image is the other option I gave the photo editor. I agree with his decision though.
